Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Cash Application Specialist to join a large distribution company in Garner, NC. A candidate that has a strong attention to detail and the ability to enter and analyze data with accuracy is desired. This is a primarily a remote position with visiting the site twice a week for a few hours to complete necessary tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the posting and application of all customer payments received through lockbox and ACH
- Data entry
- Research and analysis locating correct customer account and invoices
- Assist with the day-to-day inquiries from internal and external customers as it relates to cash receipts
- Reconciliation of customer accounts to resolve discrepancies, missing and misapplied payments
- Provide cross functional support within team, as well as/ ad hoc duties
- Performs other related duties as required by leadership
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years Cash applications experience
- Solid 10-key skills & Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels of organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner
- Experience with high volume transactions within business-to-business organization a
- High level organizational and follow-up resolution skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Detail Oriented with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to research information
