Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing logistics company who is hiring a Buyer to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Buyer will purchase and manage inventory across distribution locations, overseeing replenishment
- Buyer will manage inbound logistics from suppliers to distribution centers
- Buyer will assist in resolving issues with deliveries
- Buyer will interact with Customer Service team and Account Managers to allocate inventory as needed
- Buyer will manage import product Purchase Orders and inter-branch transfer Purchase Orders
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 2+ years Purchasing background
- Candidates must be skilled in allocating resources, negotiations, and possess strong communication skills
- Candidates must have knowledge of warehousing, transportation, customer service, and accounting disciplines
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite
- A BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred
