Responsibilities:

• Implement accounting policies & procedures to ensure timely & accurate financial reports & strong internal controls
• Assist the Global Corporate Controller in preparing monthly closing and ensuring timely & accurate closing results
• Assist Global Corporate Controller in preparing consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely analysis of results
• Support annual budget process including departmental budget reviews, prepare forecasts & analyze performance compared against budgets & forecasts
• Create the company’s internal audit program
• Partner with Regional Finance Team to develop Internal Audit Plan, ensure the execution & communicate the findings & recommendations
• Assess Company’s IT and Business processes and identify shortfalls or gaps in processes
• Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws & statutes
• Evaluate internal control and make recommendation on improvement
• Promote ethics and help identify improper conduct and assure safeguards & investigate fraud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification REQUIRED
• 7+ years of accounting experience required
• Experience with IFRS accounting standards & accounting for foreign entities is required
• Proficiency in internal control design, documentation and implementation required
• Ability to solve complex problems & drive continuous improvement in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Drive for results and strong sense of urgency
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of management across the company
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
