Accentuate Staffing is working with a growing homebuilder to hire a residential Architectural Draftsman. This is a great opportunity for an entry level candidate with some exposure to the residential construction world!
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings with Autodesk AutoCAD software that includes building dimensions, elevations, sections, required materials, and construction details.
- Prepare and assemble lot specific drawing sets.
- Provide accurate, detailed drawings with a sense of urgency.
- Apply continuous design improvements and value-engineering principles to plans, while considering structural implications.
- Implement field verifications/field problem resolutions into base plan libraries.
- Work with Estimator to improve takeoff procedures and processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum AS Degree in related field
- Some experience with residential construction drafting and design
