Responsibilities:

• Invoices:  Collect all A/P invoices from email box and mailbox, obtain G/L coding, and enter into accounting system timely
• A/P email box:  Keep clean and up to date
• Vendor Address Book:  Obtain W9 from all vendors and stay up to date with vendor company name, address, or remit to changes
• Vendors:  Communicate by email/phone regarding invoice issues, payment inquiries, vendor statements, and credit applications
• Bank Wire Payments:  Manage wire transfer templates, initiate wire payments, and record manual payments in accounting system timely
• Check Run Selection:  Select invoices to pay for semi-monthly check runs based on vendor payment rules
• Print checks for semi-monthly check runs and assemble with invoices for signature by CFO or Controller
• Company Checks:  Create stop-pay at bank; query checks-cleared reports at bank; void checks in accounting system, maintain check stock
• Month end tie-out of Accounts Payable Aging and G/L Trial Balance
• Generate 1099’s
• Miscellaneous projects as directed by the Controller

Requirements:

• 3+ Years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Intermediate Level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience with Oracle/JD Edwards Accounts Payable Module
