Accentuate Staffing is seeking an Administrative Office Assistant to cover a leave of absence for a healthcare client in Charlotte. The position would be the first point of contact for visitors to the office and will implement processes to ensure the efficient operation of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
  • Greet, welcome, and assist visitors appropriately, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.
  • Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints
  • Receive terminating employees’ equipment, keys, and badges and notify IT, HR, and Facilities accordingly.
  • Provide support functions for meetings, including reserving conference rooms and preparing necessary materials.
  • Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative/office management experience.
  • Ability to practice effective communication techniques both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of resources in gathering information and independently answering inquiries.
  • Considerable knowledge of effective practices and ability to plan and complete projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Skilled in organizing workflow and coordinating activities to ensure efficient operations.
