Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an AP Supervisor for our Raleigh, NC client. The Accounts Payable Manager reports to the Corporate Controller and is responsible for managing the AP Associates supporting the processing of $200 million in vendor payments annually. This role is accountable for operational performance against goals and metrics related to timely vendor payments, discrepancy resolution, and quality of work through accurate and timely invoice entry. The person in this position would also oversee AP department staff, ensure key internal controls are in place and best practices are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day AP processing to maintain optimal performance.
- Process AP payments through ERP.
- Maintain vendor file and documentation.
- Maintain key vendor relationships.
- Manage the accounts payable staff on daily activities.
- Evaluate employees’ job performance annually.
- Executing processes and procedures, and reporting any discrepancies or compliance issues.
- Develop and report AP key performance metrics to team and leadership.
- Monitor daily invoice entry to determine if metrics should be adjusted.
- Support staff to effectively prioritize and process invoices.
- Reconcile vendor GL accounts to minimize potential posting errors.
- Identify areas of improvement for AP processing.
- Support and complete any compliance or audit requirements.
- 1099 reporting and filing.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years, or associate degree with 5-8 years of related experience.
- Leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Large ERP experience, Epicor Prophet 21 preferred.
- Experience with AP automation preferred.
- Previous experience in a multi-location company preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
