Responsibilities:

• Company-wide banking needs, including recording necessary cash entries as part of the month end close, maintaining external banking relationships, and ensuring timely banking transactions.
• Working closely with Accounting Senior Manager and other team members to ensure seamless knowledge transition and ongoing improvement of Company’s operational processes as it pertains to other accounting areas.
• Recording all cash-related GL entries across all companies and performing related reconciliations.
• Documenting processes and controls in his or her areas of responsibility.
• Completing month end balance sheet reconciliations as part of the close process.
• Other month end close procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years’ relevant work experience.
• Experience with Dynamics Great Plains accounting system a plus.
• Public Accounting experience, and/or CPA certification preferred.
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently and self-manage areas of responsibility.
• Strong accounting and reconciliation skills required.
• Exhibits great self-motivation and initiative to improve current state processes.
• One who consistently exhibits a positive attitude.
• Experience with Dynamics GP accounting system a plus.
