Accentuate Staffing is assisting a global manufacturer in the Fayetteville area who is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire position working 8pm to 4:30am Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation and Controls Technician will perform regular and emergency maintenance on low-voltage electrical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment employed in data collection, processing, transmission, reception, recording, and the regulation of control elements in processes.
- Technician will conduct scheduled inspections, tests, adjustments, calibrations, and maintenance tasks to guarantee the proper operation of process instrumentation and control systems.
- Technician will consult diagrams and technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, standards, and codes.
- Technician will operate, uphold, and mend electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing devices.
- Technician will carry out acceptance tests for new equipment and assess equipment and system installations to ensure they comply with plans and specifications.
- Technician will assist in the creation of original designs required for analog and digital system modifications.
- Technician will manage an inventory of spare components and parts to facilitate efficient repairs and maintain essential supplies for routine servicing
Requirements:
- Candidate must have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience at the journey level in maintaining process instrumentation and control equipment.
- Candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with PLC control systems.
- Candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with analog IO systems.
- Candidate with Allen Bradley PLC programming and iFix SCADA software preferred
- Candidate must have either an Apprenticeship in Industrial Instrumentation or college level work in electronics or a related field
