Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing organization in Raleigh in need of a Linux Systems Administrator to join their growing team. This role will be a full-time employee position with their company. As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, engineering and support for their Linux systems within the organization. There may be times where you will support, other times you will be spinning up new systems – regardless; you will be the sole Linux person on this team of three. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting their network internally, including router/switch support, VPN, wireless and some VoIP.

To be the right fit, you will need to have a strong background in a flavor of Linux – they use CentOS, but having experience with Debian, Red Hat, Gentoo, Ubuntu, etc. will work as well. Additionally, experience with file transfer servers (specifically Samba) will make the difference in being hired or not. Team fit is important, so personality will weigh heavily in the decision making process.
