Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Product Manager to join a local company in the Durham area. This is a temp to hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement the product roadmap for the company websites and for future writing websites and evangelize the product vision, and strategy
• Collaborate with developers to prioritize bug fixes, new features and functionality, performance enhancements, and user experience
• Conduct full lifecycle development of newly branded writing sites including market analysis, user profile and test case generation, wireframe mockup design of website layout and system functionality, and build-out and testing of website components.
• Partner with marketing staff and project managers to create print and online materials and communications, attend trade shows and education conferences, generate leads, and sell products to school and district clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations for state and district education agencies and potential industry partners via webinars, conference sessions, and face-to-face meetings.
• Collaborate with the Website Content Manager to determine content needs, specifications, and integration into the various writing websites, enhancement of the PEG essay scoring technologies, and research projects relating to the writing websites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working with web application development and/or management
• 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Project Manager
• Experience with educational technology products (K-12 and/or higher education)
• Experience with Agile product development methodologies
