Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day oversight and hands-on involvement with all accounting functions
2. Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
3. Manage the process and third-party Tax advisors regarding the company’s annual audit and tax filings
4. In-depth financial analysis and creation management of financial reports, financial statements, and other required financial reports
5. Execute month-end closings, account reconciliations and work papers, controls, cost accounting, audits, and financial reports. reporting
6. Work with other company leaders and executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process
7. Lead the accounting team of two with continued professional development, one on one coaching, and effective accountability
8. Other accounting and financial related tasks, projects, assignments as needed and requested

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in accounting
3. Proficiency in Excel
4. ERP systems experience
5. Professional accreditation such as CPA is a plus
6. Manufacturing teams and inventory management experience strongly desired
7. Ability to manage corporate accounting functions effectively
8. Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with leadership among various departments and the accounting team
9. Exhibit a high-level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
