Responsibilities:

• Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on all plant equipment
• Mechanic will maintain 24vdc to13.8kv electrical equipment, as well as mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
• Mechanic will follow all safety and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• Candidate must have 5 years experience working in an industrial environment or power plant
• Candidate must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent, Associate’s in Engineering/Industrial Technology or Military Technical School preferred
• Candidate must have experience maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and instrument control systems
• Candidate must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Candidate must be comfortable working a 12/hr Dupont shift as well as any overtime required
• Candidate must have valid NC Driver’s License
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test
