Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing Medical Device company in the Durham area who is hiring a Production Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Production Manager will oversee production process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished product
- Manager will oversee up to 5 employees, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers
- Manager will monitor production efficiency, implement process improvements, quality control procedures
- Manager will communicate with international vendors, streamlining production workflow
- Manager will operate production equipment, troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions
- Manager will identify process optimization, new technologies, methods, ways to reduce costs
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 7+ years experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Manufacturing; a Masters degree preferred
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
- Candidates must have prior process development background
- Experience in the medical device or electronics manufacturing industry preferred, semiconductor or sensor experience a plus
- Candidates must be familiar with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies
