AP Specialist
Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an AP Specialist for our well-established client in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with prior experience working in Accounts Payable and QuickBooks. This position offers flexible hours and is onsite Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill, reconcile, and enter invoices for Purchase Order and Non-Purchase order vendors. Organization and entry of invoices against purchase order.
- Organization and entry of payments, including check runs for priority and general vendors as well as ACH and wire payment batches.
- Resolve discrepancies between vendor invoicing and purchase orders.
- Work closely with other accounting personnel, purchasing and field personnel to resolve any issues related to voucher processing, including coding, pricing, and receipt of goods.
- Contact external vendors regarding invoicing issues.
- Vendor maintenance, including PO Module and accounting system.
- Organization of files, including paper and electronic files.
- Maintain documentation and support for financial records.
- Statement Reconciliation.
- Handle special projects and other tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
- QUICKBOOKS experience REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to develop productive relations with responsible parties.
- Ability to function independently as a member of a team in a multi-task environment.
- Must have excellent organization, project and time management skills.
- Comfortable with MS Office
- Ability to communicate clearly and productively both verbally and through written communications.
