Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established electric manufacturing company in the Garner area who is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician/Stand up Forklift Operator to join their team. This is a contract to hire position working 6:30am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks, including but not limited to painting, minor plumbing, general cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
- Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts for transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the facility as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Work with the team to ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support additional maintenance projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have experience in facilities maintenance
- Candidate must have experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- Candidate must be comfortable lifting up to 50+ lbs. as needed, and stand for long periods of time
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug test and background check
