Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading commercial printing company who is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working a 12-hour day or night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues to resolve equipment malfunctions or failures.
- Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer’s specifications to repair and maintain machinery such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments for equipment repairs.
- Repair or fabricate machine parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, or other machine shop equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of equipment control systems to identify issues that may be mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic.
- Ability to make precise adjustments and measurements, ensuring equipment alignment and functionality.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturers’ specifications, and multiview sketches.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic pumps/motors, clamping devices, and electric/hydraulic axis drive systems.
- Advanced skills in construction, assembly techniques, and the ability to manufacture replacement parts.
