Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues to resolve equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer’s specifications to repair and maintain machinery such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments for equipment repairs.
• Repair or fabricate machine parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, or other machine shop equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment.
• Proficient knowledge of equipment control systems to identify issues that may be mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic.
• Ability to make precise adjustments and measurements, ensuring equipment alignment and functionality.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturers’ specifications, and multiview sketches.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic pumps/motors, clamping devices, and electric/hydraulic axis drive systems.
• Advanced skills in construction, assembly techniques, and the ability to manufacture replacement parts.
