Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Junior Buyer to join a manufacturing client in Raleigh, NC. The Junior Buyer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Review MRP requirements and place Purchase Orders
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Initiate sourcing actions as required to support Engineering and/or Manufacturing needs
- Research and evaluate new suppliers to expand the vendor base and optimize procurement strategies.
- Monitor inventory needs and plan for daily demand generated by forecast
Requirements:
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
- Proficient in MS Excel and Access applications, including data queries, analysis, and reporting
- General knowledge of planning and purchasing processes, including inventory management and supplier negotiations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
