Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and inventory departments to verify and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and any discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies within the receiving area.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that received items are correctly labeled and stored.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to incoming shipments, such as damage, delays, or shortages.
• Conduct regular audits of received goods and inventory to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on receiving activities, inventory levels, and any discrepancies to management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the receiving process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS), ASW, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
