Accentuate Staffing is assisting a machine shop in the Morrisville area recruit for a Production Coordinator to join their team. The Production Coordinator will play a key role in the production process, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be proactive, communicative, and able to work effectively with various departments to ensure deadlines are met. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
- Assist in the planning and execution of production tasks, including resource allocation and workflow management.
- Communicate with various departments (e.g., design, engineering, logistics) to ensure all production needs are met.
- Monitor the progress of production projects in SAP, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, budgets, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Work with quality team to verify proper gauging is available and assist in calibration, repairs, or replacements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a production or project coordination role or a 2 year technical degree
- Experienced using SAP is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of production processes and industry standards.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
