Accentuate Staffing is assisting a machine shop in the Morrisville area recruit for a Machine Shop Equipment Operator to join their team. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production equipment to include saws, polishers and grinders
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on machines
- Loads machines using overhead cranes
- Follow blueprints and other drawings
- Perform any visual inspections of finished product
- Assist with bringing materials to manufacturing lines
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years machine operation experience, CNC experience a plus!
- Must be comfortable using calipers, tape measure, and work instructions
- Experience reading and following blueprints is required
- Previous operating an overhead crane and forklift are a plus
- Must be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs continuously
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
