Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst for our client in Morrisville, NC 27560. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a flexible hybrid/remote schedule for a candidate residing in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC area.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial close procedures
- First review of P&Ls for multiple entities (including cross-function communication with the accounting team to ensure accurate & complete P&Ls)
- Various analysis for multiple entities including weekly budget vs actual reports, quarterly incentive compensation calculations, & various ad hoc analysis
- Monthly preparation of the KPI & FinPack for all entities
- Flexing to work on special accounting projects as needed (some examples including the input of data related to ASC 842 adoption, process efficiency projects such as credit card policy changes, & the implementation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation procedures).
- Various ad hoc brand-level financial analysis. Some examples of past projects include brand-level OpEx analysis, headcount & retention analysis, etc.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Big 4 (or similar) accounting experience preferred but not required OR
- 1-2 years of finance/accounting experience related to monthly close procedures, financial reporting & analysis, budgeting & forecasting, and related ad hoc analysis
- Proficient in EXCEL
- ERP systems experience
- Tableau or Power BI experience a plus
