Help Desk Technician
Accentuate Staffing is working with a leading global technology company seeking a talented Help Desk Technician to join their dynamic IT Shared Services team. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical support to local and remote users for PCs, servers, network applications, software, and hardware issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior personnel.
- Maintain accurate records within the Help Desk tracking system, generating reports on call volume and trends.
- Manage patching, antivirus testing, and deployment processes.
- Oversee desktop administration and deployment procedures, including setting up new equipment and supporting existing systems.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure optimal user experience.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma and 2-4 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Solid experience supporting network and desktop peripherals and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Expertise in current Windows operating systems, antivirus administration, and Windows patching processes (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager experience preferred).
- Experience supporting the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is a must.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- A strong dedication to customer service and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
