Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookeeper for our growing client located in Raleigh, NC. The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing office operations and performing essential accounting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth office operations while maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Handle bill payments and check deposits in a timely manner.
- Track and reconcile broker commissions and splits to ensure accurate payment and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the brokerage team, including scheduling, correspondence, and client communication.
- Manage office supplies, ensuring inventory is well-stocked and within budget.
- Coordinate and oversee office maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain organized records and files, both physical and digital.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Facilitate communication within the office to enhance workflow and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
- QuickBooks experience desired
- Comfortable with MS Office Suite
- Yardi experience a plus
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the real estate/brokerage industry is a plus.
