Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established beverage manufacturer in the Garner area recruit for a Production Manager to join their team. This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity. Candidate must be available to work a 12 hour shift.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Plan and organize production schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Manage inventory levels and order materials and supplies as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all products meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Train and develop production team members to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement new production processes and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years leadership experience in a fast paced production environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such Engineering or Management preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing production schedules.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with quality control and assurance procedures.
- Must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of FDA regulations and OSHA standards
