Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading distributor of nutritional supplement products in Apex, NC who is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is great opportunity working 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse functions including receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement specific objectives and performance metrics.
- Interpret and act on performance and quality data to drive improvements.
- Lead the selection and hiring of new warehouse employees; evaluate performance and create improvement plans.
- Ensure all warehouse employees receive appropriate training and skills development.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.
- Oversee the preparation and loading of trucks for shipments according to company procedures and customer instructions.
- Manage and control warehouse and delivery expenses and capital.
- Ensure compliance with company and government policies and regulations, including Safety, OSHA, HazMat, and DOT.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 4 years leadership background in distribution environments.
- Strong leadership, customer relations, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate the team, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing environments.
- Extensive experience in distribution management, including customer service, sales, purchasing, warehouse operations, credit, information systems, and logistics. Experience in large, national, or decentralized organizations is preferred.
