Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading tool manufacturer in the Wake Forest in their search for a Sr. Purchasing & Sourcing Administrator. Candidates for this role must be familiar with working in a machine shop, mold manufacturing, or tool and die manufacture setting. The Sr. Purchasing & Sourcing Administrator will need to be able to provide excellent customer service and the ability to work with across departments. This is a 100% onsite direct hire role in Wake Forest, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and building customer relationships
- Preparing and delivering quotes to customers in mold building / repairs
- Responsible for warehousing & distribution of raw materials, goods-in process and finished goods.
- Shipping and receiving inventory, including coordinating and scheduling deliveries.
- Responsible for material procurement.
- Sourcing and Ordering supplies mold building supplies and equipment
- Accurately entering customer orders / data into ERP system
- Supports ISO 9001
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience purchasing and material sourcing in steel & aluminum
- Proficient in ERP System, or similar software
- Accurate data entry and computer skills
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude.
- Highly motivated and customer service oriented. Must possess proven customer service experience, specifically servicing key accounts.
- Strategic thinking.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Understanding of risk management
- Mold building experience a plus
