Accentuate Staffing is hiring a Carpenter for an established, industry leader in the Raleigh area. This is a direct hire, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Taking accurate measurements and calculating the size and amount of materials needed
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials to build structures or fixtures
- Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
- Ensure work is done in a timely fashion, within the appropriate project timeline
- Regularly keep customers informed on project progress
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a carpenter including installing interior trim, patching drywall, painting, etc.
- Experience with residential remodeling preferred
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must be willing and able to work after hours/on call on a rotational basis
- Must provide own hand tools
- Must be able to consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift, and carry 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
