Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading Supply Chain and Logistics solution provider who is looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Engineer to join their team. This is a direct hire position working in the office at least 3 days a week, requiring limited travel.
Responsibilities:
- Sr. Supply Chain Engineer will lead supply chain consulting efforts driving business development through engineering and project management
- Sr. Engineer will design, develop, and implement methods and tools to increase operational efficiencies reducing waste for internal and external customers
- Sr. Engineer will quantify cost trends for pricing models to create solutions for customers
- Sr. Engineer will work with Sales, Operations, and Account Management to identify inefficiencies in supply chain and reengineer it to create value through mode and flow change
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering with 7+ years related work experience
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of supply chain design and optimization tools
- Candidates must have an understanding of transportation design parameters
- Candidates must be familiar with process flow analysis
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Excel, Access, and SQL
- Candidates must be familiar with Transportation Management Systems
