Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a full-time Senior Supply Chain Planner for our client in Cary, NC. The Senior Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing all aspects of Demand & Supply planning.  This is a hybrid temp to hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Demand Plans in ERP system
  • Lead the Demand Review Process to generate a consensus forecast that is derived from demand signals such as budget forecasts, sales forecasts, statistical forecasts, and other factors affecting demand
  • Monitor and report demand data accuracy and changes, addressing any demand related issues
  • Conduct weekly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning for the respective business unit.
  • Builds Master Production Plan for all business segment portfolios – facilitate supply discussions and ultimately generate a material requirements plan (MRP) for the purchasing department
  • Collaborate with plant operations to develop production schedules for bulk, finished goods, and packaged materials.
  • Lead the Supply Review Process and facilitate the overall supply process, ensuring accurate and timely planning, communication, and coordination with a cross-functional team including commercial, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, logistics, and customer service
  • Facilitates the distribution requirements planning (DRP) process from manufacturing sites to warehouses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate product delivery based on forecasts, input from the sales team, and historical sales data.
  • Process all purchase orders and production reporting from contract manufacturers within the ERP system.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the design and implementation of Planning functions within the ERP system.
  • Partners with Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure successful launch of new and rebranded products into the market

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Planning and ERP systems, preferably in the chemical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years purchasing, production planning/scheduling or materials management experience
  • Highly computer literate, proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  • Experience with computerized MRP/ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle Cloud.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to discuss technical problems with associates, suppliers, and customers
  • Ability and willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities and suppliers as required
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and confidence
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in driving change and improving the integrity of applicable processes and systems
  • Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail
