Accentuate Staffing is assisting a medical equipment refurbishment company in the Sanford area who is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. This is a great opportunity working on 1st shift Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and disassemble hospital beds, ensuring all components are identified and assessed for refurbishment.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize components to meet medical industry standards and infection control protocols.
- Repair, replace, or refurbish damaged parts to restore hospital beds to a like-new condition.
- Reassemble hospital beds, ensuring proper functionality, structural integrity, and safety compliance.
- Perform quality checks throughout the refurbishment process to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of all refurbishment activities, including replacement parts used and quality control results.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, repair, or refurbishment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously.
- Ability to follow assembly instructions and quality standards.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
