Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading commercial appliance manufacturing company who is looking for a Parts Finishing Associate. This position is a contract to hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday with some overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Parts Finishing Associate will utilize hand and rotary tools to clean and finish metal parts
- Finishing Associate will grind, deburr, and polish parts according to SOPs
- Finishing Associate will follow diagrams and take measurements of parts
- Finishing Associate will work with Quality Control to identify and dispose of defective or contaminated parts
Requirements:
- Candidates must be mechanically inclined and have experience working with metal
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Experience operating sharp hand and power tools preferred
- Candidates must be able to follow both computer and paper instructions
- Candidates must have strong attention to detail
- Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team
