Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing company to hire a Plant Accountant. The purpose of this role is to lead the plant accounting production yield staff by providing accurate and timely support for operational, technical, and consultative functions to include but not limited to variance reporting, inventory, and production related research and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees accumulation of departmental production yield reporting data.
- Prepare and analyze actual vs Std cost variance reports from various sources.
- Prepare/review yield and labor variances weekly and monthly while ensuring accuracy.
- Update BOM files as items are released for costing.
- Internal departmental variance reporting prepared by production accounting associates.
- Analyzing ZBB Trends, KPI Reporting, Ad hoc Reporting and Analytics
- Assist in development of Annual Operating Budget Plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
- Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadlines-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft, SAP
