Accentuate Staffing is seeking a an experienced Logistics Coordinator for one of our clients in Cary, NC. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of the overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This is a temp to hire hybrid role out of the Cary office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble all documentation for shipments as needed by customer and/or required by the company
- Follow company standard operating procedures and best practices for export shipments
- Help foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendor partners to utilize Oracle ERP and TMS systems
- Ensure adherence to the organizations freight policy and other customer/product specific exceptions
- Provide support to Accounts Payable Specialist for inventory reconciliation and vendor billing questions or issues
- Other duties not listed above as assigned by immediate supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum work experience of 2 years in logistics or transportation industry
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field is required
- Proficiency in Excel, statistic applications and logistics programs and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud or equivalent ERP systems
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with logistics processes and systems
- Strong understanding of DOT, IATA, and Maritime shipping requirements. Certification in these areas is ideal
- Experience in data analysis
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, TMS, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud)
- Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
