Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a large poultry processing farm who is hiring for a Food Safety Manager to join their team. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity working onsite. The ideal candidate will the ability to lead a company in food safety initiatives and manage all food safety activities to ensure consistent results.
Responsibilities:
- Leads all aspects of food safety functions to support the company’s food safety goals and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Meets and exceeds all customer, regulatory and company requirements related to food safety.
- Creates, documents and implements both food safety processes and procedures to ensure product safety is always maintained.
- Cross collaborate with quality assurance managers and supervisors in decision making.
Requirements:
- Must have a Food, Poultry or Meat Science.
- At least 5 years of Supervisory experience in HACCP, QA or Food Safety.
- Must be HACCP certified combined with a clear knowledge of HACCP and regulatory skills.
- Food safety experience in a poultry processing environment and knowledge of poultry processing principles is highly preferred.
- Food Safety Manager experience and knowledge of management principles if highly preferred.
