Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a great food and pharmaceutical company who is hiring for a Health and Safety Leader. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay, working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead the company in efforts to improve safety standards and overall health and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Leads incident investigations, reports and 5S activities.
- Develops and delivers EH&S safety trainings.
- Maintains compliance to the company’s safety systems through the auditing program, both internal and external.
- Manages building security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to Industrial Health and Safety or equivalent experience in the position.
- OSHA 30 certification is necessary, OSHA 501 certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of Safety Standards experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting both safety audits and inspections combined with the ability to develop and implement CAPAs.
- Demonstrated experience delivering and developing safety training programs.
- Experience investing incidents and accidents as well as, implementing preventative measures
