Responsibilities:

• Analyze training needs and recommend new programs to the HR Manager.
• Develop new training programs or enhance existing ones to continuously improve employee, supervisory, and managerial development, subject to approval.
• Manage training logistics, including class setup, participant communication, and facilitator or vendor coordination.
• Establish a training feedback and evaluation process to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in conducting parts of new employee orientation to ensure a positive integration of new employees into the company’s culture, policies, and procedures.
• Support the overall HR strategy for the Mebane plant in collaboration with the HR Manager and Operations Director.
• Assist in identifying staff vacancies and conduct interviews using behavioral interviewing techniques.
• Develop relationships to expand local recruiting sources, enabling faster and more cost-effective hiring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in training and talent acquisition, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of training and coaching theories, best practices, and familiarity with relevant EEO and NC labor laws and regulations related to recruiting and training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial and “hands-on” mentality.
• Strong communicator with both internal and external clients.
