Accentuate Staffing is actively seeking a Buyer for a manufacturing company in Raleigh offering a competitive benefit package. The ideal candidate will help achieve team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of subcontracted components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines. This is a direct hire position onsite in Raleigh.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate the best prices and commercial conditions to ensure best supply of components maximizing the profit.
- Support the service centers at customer quotation stage
- Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders.
- Setting up supply agreements with key suppliers to ensure preferential pricing and delivery.
- Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- ERP Systems experience
- Good understanding of all the main purchasing areas: negotiations, evaluation and development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc.
- Excellent attention to detail, well organized and able to work independently and with a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
