Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a client that is hiring a SQL Developer to create custom reports and modify data forms in their continuous effort to improve organizational productivity. In this position, you’ll work with IT to support physical database administration, ensuring they are deployed, maintained, and managed.
We’re looking for someone who can work on-site in Oxford, NC and has experience being designing databases or updates and has a proven track record of ensuring stability, reliability, and performance within a Window Server environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performance management, security, installations, upgrades, patches, backup, recovery, space management, performance tuning and capacity planning
- Manage and maintain the backup and recovery process (this includes disaster recovery performance and tuning)
- Identify data requirements, normalization design, and database complies with industry best practices and security requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Windows Server enterprise environments.
- Knowledgeable in in database management best practices.
- Familiarity with E21 SQL environment and EDI processing or an interest with a strong capability to learn.
- Strong communication skills and able to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.
