Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing medical device manufacturer in the Apex area who is looking for an Extrusion Lead/Supervisor to support their Extrusion Department. This is a direct hire opportunity working 2nd/3rd shift, Monday-Friday offering an excellent sign on bonus and competitive benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Extrusion Lead/Supervisor will provide support and leadership for 2nd and 3rd shift Extrusion Technicians
- Lead will set up, operate, tear down, clean, and adjust extrusion machinery
- Lead will load machines, position, set up, and run production jobs
- Lead will maintain records for yield, quality, etc.
- Lead will assemble products and sub assemblies with narrow tolerances
- Lead will perform quality inspections on finished products
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 8+ years experience as an Extrusion Operator; Leadership experience a plus
- Candidates with regulated industry background preferred (FDA, FAA, USDA, etc)
- Candidates must be proficient in operating, setting up, tearing down, and adjusting extrusion and/or injection mold equipment
- Candidates must have experience with hand tools, power tools, and reading complex drawings
- Candidates must be computer savvy in Microsoft Office Suite
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED
