Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic company who is hiring for an Environmental Health and Safety Leader to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay, working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead this facility in Environmental Health and Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Improving and setting the direction and operating standards and results in Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Leading auditing programs, incident investigations and reporting as well as, site EH&S training
- Monitors, maintains and develops company safety programs; managing effluent treatment systems
- Coordinates source of contamination reductions and 5S activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Health & Safety or Environmental Management combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience with Safety Standards or Plant Environmental Systems
- Wastewater Certification at Level 2 or higher
- Direct experience with municipal, state and federal environmental regulations as well as, OSHA and NCDOL regulations.
- Biological Wastewater Treatment Experience
