Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading fabrication company in the Raleigh area who is hiring a Manual Machinist to join their team. This is a contract-hire position working 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Manual Machinist will set up and operate manual machines
- Machinist will fabricate, modify, and repair equipment parts
- Machinist will assist in maintaining and repairing equipment
- Machinist will utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges
- Machinist will read and interpret instructions and drawing such as blueprints and geometric tolerances
Requirements:
- Candidates must 2 years manual machining background in machine shop environments
- Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances
- Candidates must have experience using precision measuring equipment
- Candidates must have knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machining procedures
- Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
