Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a managed IT services provider that is hiring a Managed Service Engineer (level 1) to provide technical assistance (service/support) to clients around the RTP area. In this role, you’ll work with your team to ensure issues are resolved for clients on a regular basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the tech space and join a team where you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to reach solutions across a wide range of applications and technologies.
We’re looking for someone who is interested in a full-time opportunity and has reliable transportation to travel onsite to assist clients of small to medium-sized businesses across the RTP area. Responsibilities:
- You’ll troubleshoot end-user issues for assigned clients on a daily basis.
- Work on all assigned tickets/projects until they are complete.
- Provide basic administration, including adding/removing users and groups, configuring file permissions, checking event logs, and configuring and restoring from backup.
- Effectively communicate with clients while providing solutions – by this, we mean being able to translate technical terms into easily understandable information for non-technical people.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of IT applications, processes, software, and equipment.
- Experience with Windows desktop operating systems.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized with priorities and tasks while documenting progress.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity and Terminal Services.
