Accentuate staffing is seeking an Accounting Coordinator  to join a 40+ year successful organization in Charlotte, NC.  The Accounting Coordinator   will provide financial support through the completion of billing services for the organization.  The position requires a great deal of discretion as responsibilities include confidentiality of contracts, pays, and revenue to the branch. Must be able to multitask, answer phones, send emails, and respond to needs of the office simultaneously.  This is a direct hire role with an excellent benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple Project Managers with A/P, lien waivers and sales tax reports
  • Receive and process contract documents and certificates of insurance/bonds
  • Review and submit monthly expense reports; run monthly reports for leadership team as requested
  • Complete warranty and close out documents
  • Serve as liaison between A/R Specialist, Project Manager and GC to ensure adequate receivables
  • Generate monthly reports for meetings
  • Assist with front desk coverage
  • Help set up for various meetings/events
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience performing various administrative duties related to billings  (within the commercial construction industry strongly preferred)
  • Effective management and prioritization of multiple projects and deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently with little supervision
  • Must have strong organizations skills and very detailed oriented
  • Flexible, with the ability to diplomatically interface with all levels of employees, customers and business partner
