Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Coordinator for one of our clients in Raleigh, NC.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering 100% employee paid health benefits and a generous 401k match.

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of billing and contract functions working with both customers and vendors.  This role will be responsible for preparing  documents, including pay applications, lien waivers, certificates of insurance, sales tax reports, invoice copies etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare job billings meeting monthly deadlines
  • Maintain backup and an orderly filing system for billing files
  • Process and return contract and related documents
  • Responsible for independently and accurately processing accounts payable.
  • Accurately process invoices, check requests and other accounting functions
  • Maintain vendor contact information and insurance certificates
  • Responsible for the independently and accurately processing accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements with accounting records

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred but not required
  • Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently yet keep superiors informed of important matters
  • Detail-oriented
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to communicate well with others.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Comfortable multi-tasking yet keeping track of important details
