Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fast-growing organ manufacturing group who is hiring for Research Associates with various levels of experience. This is a direct hire opportunity working onsite and offering highly competitive pay combined with a 20% cash bonus and 20% stock options. The ideal candidate the ability to wear many hats and a strong interest in cell biologics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute analytical methods to support the production of cells and cellularized 3D scaffolds for the development of autologous 3D printed tissue engineered organs.
- Perform and optimize various assays to support the production of iPS-derived cells including flow cytometry, immunocytochemical assessment, proliferation assays and other cell-based assays as needed
- Perform and optimize various assays to support the production of iPS-derived cells including flow cytometry, immunocytochemical assessment, proliferation assays and other cell-based assays as needed
- Write and update test methods for analytical assays, standard operating procedures for operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Cellular Biology, Developmental Biology, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Candidate MUST have hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
- 1+ years of analytical development experience.
- Immunohistochemistry and or flow cytometry experience is highly preferred.
