Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for one of our clients in Morrisville, NC. This position will play a vital role in providing HR best practices and an exceptional employee experience from onboarding forward. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions with the opportunity to expand your HR knowledge and skills. This is a direct hire onsite role.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including both salaried and bi-weekly employees utilizing Paylocity.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits.
- Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process, including facilitating new hire orientations.
- Managing employee leave requests, time off, and attendance records.
- Overseeing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Providing HR support to employees, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
- Assisting in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that support the company’s overall HR strategy.
- Maintain service award program and other employee relations programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years proven experience as an HR Generalist with expertise in payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong competency in MS Excel.
