Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Hybrid Payroll/Accounting Coordinator to work 20-30 hours per week with a well-established Laboratory technology company in Durham. This position will work directly with the payroll manager to process “real time payroll” for up to 130 employees that are located in North Carolina. The Payroll/Accounting Coordinator will also assist in accounts payable and invoicing support as time permits.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Processing Real Time payroll for all employees, and prepare related payroll journal entries
  • Completes other minor accounting and reporting duties as assigned
  • Assist in processing accounts payable and invoicing initiatives
  • Process Expenses
  • Assist in other administrative tasks as it relates to this department

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and must be proficient with MS Office
  • Understanding of accounting and how payroll works
  • 3-5 years of payroll processing experience is required
  • Able to work part time – 20/30 hours – must be able to train in person
