Accentuate Staffing is excited to partner with a global life sciences company in efforts to hire an Application Scientist. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, bonus and benefits, will work onsite. The ideal candidate will be hands on, mechanically and software inclined and have an education in Biology, Chemist, Biochem, or Biomedical with an understand of how laboratories operate in Life Sciences!
This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently working in a lab and is looking to do something more varied and project based!
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct support to project managers, implementing customized hardware and applications on the company’s products, an industry leading piece of laboratory equipment.
- Configuring and testing customized application scripts using the company software (can be trained on this).
- Performing feasibility studies to create custom solutions and methods for clients.
- Prepping instruments for customization, testing, reassembly and logistics while completing necessary documentation and complying with applicable quality guidelines.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering or Scientific field, preferably Biology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Engineering.
- 0 to 2 years of experience with Automation, Software, Robotics or Systems engineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering and laboratory principles.
- Experience with troubleshooting, integration and computers.
