Responsibilities:

Analyze Financial information

• Provide support for the development and management of quarterly forecast and annual budget cycles.
• Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance
• Identify trends and recommend improvements
• Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts
• Evaluate financial and service delivery data using analytical methods and available software to identify trends in fiscal operations and service delivery
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify, analyze, and resolve data related problems and assure that data collected is of high quality and unsullied integrity
• Develop programs and data that can be used for data analysis and presentation
• Develop programs and data that can be used for data analysis and presentation;

Budget and Finance Committee Liaison

• Present financial results  budget vs. actual for revenue and expense variances
• Analyze and present reasons for over and under spending at Business and Finance meetings.

Prepare and analyze ad hoc reports

• Work with internal department to ensure correct billing.
• Work with Accounts Payable to ensure that billing is paid on a timely basis to ensure accurate month-end reporting.
• Prepare Ad hoc reports as requested

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field and four (1-4) years of experience in financial analysis or closely related finance experience

OR

Graduation from a Community College with a degree in accounting or analytics and six (5+) years of analytical or closely related financial experience.
